REQUIREMENTS FOR STOLEN AND WRITE OF VEHICLES

STOLEN VEHICLES

Ø  Completed claim form

Ø  Proof that license fees are paid up to date

Ø  SAP 21 obtained from SAPD

Ø  Signed change of ownership paper (Yellow, NCO form - Section A & C needs to be completed by the registered owner)

Ø  Details and proof of extra’s

Ø  Duplicate keys

Ø  Insurable Interest must be confirmed: Register owner and policy holder must be the same or mentioned.

Vehicle on HP:

Ø  Copy of registration certificate and settlement quotation from HP company

Vehicle HP free:

Ø  Original Deregistration certificate

Ø  Letter from insured stating that there is no HP on the vehicle

WRITE OFF VEHICLES

Ø  Completed claim form

Ø  Clear drivers licence

Ø  Signed change of ownership paper (Yellow, NCO form - Section A & C needs to be completed by the registered owner)

Ø  Details and proof of extra’s

Ø  Original and duplicate keys

Ø  Insurable Interest must be confirmed: Register owner and policy holder must be the same or mentioned.

Vehicle on HP:

Ø  Original registration certificate

Ø  Letter from insured stating that there is no HP on the vehicle
