REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSFOR EUROPEAN MICROFINANCE WEEK 2016

Preparations are underway for European Microfinance Week, 16th- 18thNovember 2016ande-MFP is launching a request for proposals from its members for sessions which will take place during this year’s prestigious event. This is your opportunity to contribute to the programme - we welcome your input!

The e-MFP Action Groupday on 16th November will be followed by atwo day conference combining plenary, workshops and roundtable sessions.

We invite all interested members to make proposals for sessions on17thand18thNovember and would also welcome suggestions related to ‘Microfinance and Access to Education’ – the topic of the 7th European Microfinance Award.

Please note that e-MFP will give priority to session proposals which:

 Illustrate how initiatives are oriented to benefit people in developing countries and improve their quality of life

Focus on outcomes, sharing lessons learned, challenges and recommendations

Bringtogether different e-MFP members. Joint e-MFP proposals are welcome and encouraged, especially proposals from members active in the same field of expertise

The main language of the conference is English and interpretation facilities will be available only in one venue room. As soon as your speakers are confirmed, please inform us if interpretation is needed, as these facilities will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
