Question 1.How many bad address or non serves are there per year?

Answer 1.For the Department of Child Support Services in 2011 it has been running around 25%. For the two previous years it was around 32-35%. We are focusing on reducing this by making sure we are providing the most recent address information. The Department of Probation also stated that their rate is around 25%.

Question 2.There was a question on the affiliate fee charges on page 29 of the proposal.

Answer 2.The departments will pay the affiliate fee for non serves that are outside of the cities/areas listed in the RFP that the vendor is expected to service. It is desirous that the affiliate fees be as low as possible or no charge for a non service when possible. The County is desirous of subjecting these types of serves to a maximum of $70 for both the processing/surcharge fee and the affiliate’s charge. If the costs are going to be higher than $70 the vendor will need to contact the County department for approval in advance.

Question 3.Will the successful bidder be required to furnish a faithful performance bond?

Answer 3.The current contract/vendor has not been required to provide a performance bond.
