Request for price proposal No 559.0641.1.2016/14

Subject of the request

The Jagiellonian University Medical College is going to order the service of connecting the CASUS application with the Central Login service provided by the University. The order will be carried out within the framework of the project „Dydaktyka, Innowacja, Rozwój. Podniesienie jakości kształcenia poprzez rozwój innowacyjnej edukacji”, co-financed by the European Union within Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 (contract No POWR.05.03.00-00-0006/15-00).

A detailed description of the order:

The order will cover the following issues:

1. Implementation of the Jagiellonian University norm DTI/01-2 (Central Login of the Jagiellonian University – rules for connecting applications) in the CASUS® virtual patients system. All the work should be done according to the above mentioned norm which is Attachment 1 to this request.

2. Extension of the functionality of the web application CASUS in the domain to the possibility to log in using Jagiellonian University Central Login.

As a result, the following functionalities should be provided:

-Any user logging in to the CASUS® platform using the following user ID schemas

  • (where login is USOSweb ID)

will be forwarded to Jagiellonian University Central Login service and after authentication will get the same rights as other CASUS® users,

-users logging in with the Jagiellonian University Central Login service will be able to gain the same rights as other CASUS® users,

Requirement for the contractor party:

-knowledge of IT systems security issues

-experience in creating web applications using Java, JavaScript, AJAX technologies

-knowledge of Central Authentication Service (CAS) and SAML technologies

-experience in creating e-learning and/or virtual patients applications

-knowledge of architecture and implementation of the CASUS® virtual patients platform as well as the authorisation to its development

-the contractor will provide 12 months technical support terms of bug-fixing

Target date:

All the works covered by the order should be done within 4 months from receiving an official order

Terms of payment:

The amount due for the order will be paid in two parts:

75% shall be paid after delivery of the ordered services based on a protocol signed by the ordering party.

25% shall be paid based on a final acceptance protocolconfirming that all works have been done with no outstanding implementation issues.

Payments will be made within 21 days from the date of receiving correctly issued invoice.The following information should be on the invoice:
