AMENDMENTS TO THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS

As discussed during the Pre-Bid Conference held on October 10, 2014, the Bids and Awards Committee hereby issues the following amendments:

1.  Please note the amendments/additions in Section VII. Technical Specifications and OMBUDSMAN BID FORM NOS. 1A and 1C (Technical Proposals), which are underscored and highlighted as follows:

ORIGINAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS / BE REVISED/MODIFIEDTO:
LOT 1: BUSINESS DESKTOP COMPUTER (BASIC)
346 sets-Desktop Computer / Memory: At least 4 GB DDR3, PC3-12800 1600 MHz, 2 x 2GB) two memory module / Memory: At least 4 GB DDR3, PC3-12800 1600 MHz.

LOT 3: SCANNER (DOCUMENT SCANNER, HIGH SPEED)
Other Requirements / At least three (3) years next business day on-site (NBDOS) warranty on parts and labor / For Quezon City Offices: At least three (3) years next business day on-site (NBDOS) warranty on parts and labor.
For other Ombudsman Offices: At least three (3) years warranty on parts and labor. Capable of on-site warranty service within four (4) calendar days upon receipt of report.
For consumables: Supplier should guarantee the optimum performance output designed for the initial items (packaged with the unit [e.g. roller {maximum page yield}]), otherwise, replacement will be provided during the warranty period free-of-charge.
Delivery period within 30 days upon receipt of Purchase Order / Project completion is required within forty-five (45) calendar days upon receipt of Notice-to-Proceed (NTP).

2.  Please also note the amendments/additions in Section V- Special Conditions of Contract (SCC), Section 6.2, which are underscored and highlighted as follows:

Delivery Period / Delivery of goods and services is required within forty-five (45) calendar days for Lot 1 – Business Desktop Computers; thirty (30) calendar days for Lot 2 – Business Laser Printers and Lot 3– Scanners; and fifteen (15) calendar days for Lot 4 – Information technology Supplies, after receipt of Notice to Proceed at the following sites: / Project completion is required within seventy-five (75) calendar days for Lot 1 – Business Desktop Computers; thirty (30) calendar days for Lot 2 – Business Laser Printers; forty-five (45) calendar days for Lot 3 – Scanners; and fifteen (15) calendar days for Lot 4 – Information technology Supplies, after receipt of Notice to Proceed at the following sites:

3.  Bidders who have already purchased the bidding documents are reminded to use the attached Amended Ombudsman Bid Form Nos. 1A and 1C (Technical Proposals), in lieu of the bid forms previously issued.
