Presidents Cups 2010 were held in Rapid City, SD on the third weekend of March 20010 (March 18th-21st)
40 Games over the four days on three rinks were conducted.
Dan French, SD VP was Tournament Manager & seemed to be at every game at the three rinks.
The Rapid City Hockey club provided off ice officials, concessions, gate & were everywhere, doing everything.
Presidents Cup Summary:
a. 10 teams in Each Division (10 Boys HS &108 Girls HS)
b. SD Rule of play was used with 2 man referee system.
c. Did not use “Point Streak” this year.
d. Played “pool” play with Pool Champions advancing to Championship game.
e. Each State was represented by at least 2 teams in each Division.

General comments applauded work of Dan French, Tournament Host & the Rapid City folks. A summary of discussions & conclusions are as follows:
a. Past complaints & criticisms had been dealt with & were not present.
b. The Cup’s should be continued for the fellowship of the NP District. They are still a work in progress and will continue to improve.
c. 10 Team Tournaments should be the Maximum & game schedules set by September, 2010
d. Date for 2011 will be again the 3rd weekend of 2011.
e. At large team to be selected by Tournament Committee.
f. The NP web site to be used to post Tournament info for 2011.
g. Final plans for 2011 will be presented at the fall (August) NP meeting.
