Say what a message is and talk about some messages they have given and received. They will be able to talk about the ‘Easter message’, how Jesus made a promise to his friends and something of what happened on Pentecost day.

2. Some children could only / Talk about a message they have given or received. They will know that the friends of Jesus were messengers and that Pentecost Sunday is a special day.
3.Some children progressed further and could / Explain the Easter message and how Mary and Jesus’ friends felt when he went back to his Father. They will recall the story of Pentecost day from Acts and that Jesus’ friends gave his message – God loves everyone.

Describe what a treasure is and give some examples of their own and others’ treasures: They will be able to name some of the treasures of God’s world that David describes in his psalms.

3.Some children progressed further and could / Explain why we look after our treasures and other people’s treasures. They will be able to describe the wonder of God’s treasures using phrases from the psalms, the story of Ben Sirah and his prayer.
