Date: June 6th – June 7th

From: 10am to 10am (24 hr event)

Where: Hempfield Area High School - Spartan Stadium

Our Team: The ENITRE Hempfield Area Cheerleading program

The Hempfield Area “CURE” Leaders!

“These boots are made for walking ALL over cancer!!”

Information:

· All 2015-2016 cheerleaders from each Middle School and High School

· All cheerleaders will perform at opening ceremonies

· Parents/Cheerleaders will work the booth that will have activities for kids/families

· Cheerleaders will walk the track

· Since it is a 24-hr event, we will sign up in 2-hour shifts (same as last year)

· Sponsors are needed for t-shirts for all the girls/parents.

(Sponsors will be listed on the back of shirts)

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP THUS FAR!

1) SIGN UP!!!! (See attached directions)

2) If you would like to assist Christa and be a chair/contact person, please contact Christa at (724) 972- 6950.

3) You may purchase a luminaria for someone who has survived cancer or for someone who has not. These will be displayed in their honor at the event. (All proceeds go to our teams goal) Forms are online when you sign up.

4) Solicit donations – They could sponsor a smaller (or any items that we may need – decorations for our tent, snacks for the girls) and their name would appear on the back of our t-shirts that all cheerleaders/parents will be wearing if they donate! (see attached letter)

5) SAVE the DATE!!

6) ALL cheerleaders will need a waiver signed by a parent, (see attached)

7) ALL parents will need to report when their child reports. (see below)

10am – 2pm West Hempfield

2pm – 6pm Wendover

6pm – 10pm Freshmen

10pm – 2am Junior Varsity

2am – 6am Varsity

6am – 10am Harrold

8) Participate in fundraisers to raise funds for our team. If anyone has any ideas, please contact Christa.

Click on SIGN-UP

Each parent will have to create a log in and password to register their daughter and then create another to register themselves.

Create log in

Then they need : Join a Team

Hempfield “Cure” Leaders will be on the list

Then follow the rest of the instructions.

Where it says: discount code, click NO

Then it will ask if you want to make a donation now but they can click- NO, I will make donation later. There isn’t a registration fee this year.

The Hempfield Area Cheerleaders, at both the middle schools and the high school, are participating in the 2015 Relay for Life being held at Spartan Stadium on June 6, 2015. Our team name is the “Hempfield CURE Leaders” and our slogan is “Go Fight Win against Cancer.” The theme of the relay is Country Western.

We are asking for your support by soliciting a donation from you or your business.

Your contribution to our cheerleaders will go towards a t-shirt for the event for our group and the rest of the proceeds will be 100% donated to the Relay for Life Foundation. We are currently seeking monetary donations. Any assistance you could give would be greatly appreciated. Your business name will be printed on the back of our t-shirts as well.
