Session 1

Pastors - Bringing Jesusinto the Conversation – This workshop will focus on making your small groups more evangelistic by implementing simple steps to creating dialogue about the gospel. People are mostopen to hearing the gospel from a family member or trusted friend. This workshop will help Christians become more intentional in sharing the gospel in those relationships.Led by Dr. Jeff Iorg

Church Staff- Leadership Pathways - The development of group leaders is essential to the effectiveness of the work. This session will guide participants to develop a systematic and planned approach to equipping group leaders.Led by Bruce Raley

Small Group Leaders– Living Sent: Connecting in Communities - "God is a sending God! Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28:19-20 aren't just for the spiritual spectators; they give a picture of what should be the normative for every believer and every church. Learn about deploying your group/yourself/your church, to the sports fields, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods to plant the Gospel and connect with people in your sphere of influence in significant ways."Led by Eddie Mosley

Sunday School Directors– I Can’t, We Can!Relationship to Discipleship to Leadership. Strong relationships are the foundation for deeper discipleship and persevering leadership. Utilizing experiential learning we will explore principles and practices for building and strengthening meaningful relationships in your Sunday School groups and leaders. We will also discover how to overcome barriers that hinder authenticity, stunt discipleship and limit leadership development. Led by Dr. Randy Stone

Discipleship Leaders- Developing An Intentional Disciple Making Strategy. Jesus commanded us to, “Go and make disciples of all nations . . .” To what extent are you intentionally carrying out this mandate?Does your church have a plan in place that helps believers grow in Christ likeness and engage in his mission, for his glory?This session will focus on how to develop an intentional disciple-making strategy that promotes both spiritual development and leadership development that helps demonstrate our love and obedience to Christ by making disciples of all nations.Led by Sergio Arce.

Adult Leaders- Groups Matter: Moving Your People from Rows to Circles and Out to Missional Living - Effective churches use groups as their primary process to make disciples. Those churches with thriving group cultures do the same four things: Train their members to share the gospel with the lost; develop biblical community in the group; help people to mature spiritually and equip people to live missionally. This breakout will explore how to develop an inviting/sharing culture in your Adult Bible study group and how to move your people from the pew, to your group, to missional living. Led by Alan Raughton

Youth Leaders– Key Moment of Discipleship: Hearing God's Voice! We can & must equip students with the good tools to practice the presence of God.Led by Scott Kindig

Children/Preschool Leaders– Growing Children Spiritually and Teaching them to Share the Gospel - A New Answer to An Old Question; Is it time for a shift in our ministry focus? Discover how we can BEST help children grow spiritually and learn to share the gospel.Led by Clara Mae Van Brink

Women’s Groups, Missions and Ministries - Where Missions Begins – What brings the women in your church together? Does Bible study and mission awareness naturally flow into missional living? Conferencias para lasiglesias de hablahispana– Coordinated by Carlos Schmidt, these conferences will be led by Marley Hernandez. He is a native of Honduras. Graduate from SETECA in 1989. He served as leadership trainer in the western part of Honduras. From 1990-1992 served as youth pastor of Iglesia Betel Centroamericana and managed a radio station at the same church. He served as professor at SEBACAH from 1996 to 2009. Now serves as pastor of IglesiaCentroamericana Dios es Amor de San Pedro Sula. He also serves as a trainer for Samaritan's Purse.
