Add a User to the Training Registration Database Enroll a User into a Course Session

Scenario / xx has just been identified as a new user for your agency. (S)he needs to get into a Manage Job Classification & Positions – DAS (HHR200) class. You check your schedule and see that session 0001 on August 28 is a day that xx will be able to attend this class. Enroll xx into this session.
Keep in Mind /
  • xx has not yet been added to the training registration database.
  • xx – use your name when prompted for a first and last name.

View a User’s Training Summary On-Line

Scenario / One day, xx stops by your desk and wants to take a look at his/her training registration history. Bring up xx’s training history.

Cancel a User’s Enrollment in a Course Session Place a User on the Waitlist for a Course

Scenario / xx has realized that (s)he has a retirement party on August 28, and will not be able to attend training that day. xx needs to be dropped from the Manage Job Classification & Positions - DAS (HHR200) class, session 0001. Unfortunately, all of the other dates that the class is being offered have no seats left. xxshould be put on a course waitlist for this class.
Keep in Mind /
  • xx – use your name when prompted for a first and last name.
  • When putting xx on a course waitlist, make sure to start by dropping the user from any sessions of this course that he/she was enrolled in on the Course Student Enrollment page, and save. Next, press the plus sign at the top right of the page and create a new entry. Do not try to use an existing entry.
  • There will only be Course waitlists, no Session waitlists.

Final Action Item / Now that you have completed all of the exercises, go back to the Student Trainingpage and search for xx. Make sure to click View All and delete all of the entries that you created in class by clicking the minus (-) sign to the right of each one. Be sure to click Save at the bottom left of the screen.
Note: If your name already existed in the training registration database, be careful not to delete any entries that were created before today’s class.
