Job Summary: Provides administrative support for the production departments including: closing of batch tickets (MFG/PRO), records verification, tracking of quality and safety performance data, filing and maintaining of records, and updating of procedures and work instructions.

Essential Functions:

1. Closing batch tickets for Blending, Bulk Packaging, and Setup.

2. Verifying that all paperwork is filled out properly by operators, reporting to department manager and shift supervisors.

3. Entering Cycle Count information into MFG/PRO.

4. Filing and maintaining all records for Blending, Setup, and Bulk Packaging on first shift.

5. Tracking of quality and safety performance data for all shifts.

6. Updating of work instructions and procedures.

7. Developing the presentations (PowerPoint) for monthly Operations overview that include an analysis of Safety, Quality, and Budgetary performance for all production departments.

8. Developing Leading Indicator Metrics based off of employee and management auditing practices and analyzing the data from those audits for VP of Operations.

9. Developing Lagging Indicator Metrics based off of Customer Complaints, Holds, Setup Errors, and Internal Complaints and analyzing the data.

10. Calculating the DPMO (defects per million opportunities) performance for all departments.

11. Supporting the Safety Committee by helping with the tracking of data for the "S" Factor Program.

Additional Responsibilities: Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or a minimum of five years of experience in administrative support. Must be detail-oriented and have strong communication, organizational, and math skills. Strong computer skills are essential, specifically: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience in a manufacturing environment and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems is a plus.

Quality:

Must possess, demonstrate and follow all instructions, procedures and guidelines set forth in all applicable Wixon/ISO/department policies to assure continued quality product is produced.

Physical Demands: None listed.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment with a significant portion of time being spent in an industrial environment including noise, dust, hazardous materials, machinery, and lift equipment.
