NDAESP Award Nomination

REGIONAL PRINCIPAL AWARD

DUE: November 1

The Regional Principal of the Year Award was established in 2010 to assist in obtaining nominations for the National Distinguished Principal Award.
The format in naming Regional Principals of the Year each year:
Regions 1 & 2 will be combined. Regions 3 & 4 will be combined.
Regions 6 & 8 will be combined. Regions 5 & 7 will remain separate.
Regional Principal of the Year nominees are not required to be NAESP members in order to be considered for the award. All Regional Principal of the Year recipients that meet the NDP criteria, which includes membership in NAESP, will be considered for the NDP award. They will be asked to complete the “National Distinguished Principal Award” paper work. Only those that complete the paperwork will be eligible to receive the NDP Award. A nominee will still receive the Regional Principal of the Year Award if they choose not to complete the paperwork. If a person received the Regional Principal of the Year Award previously, they are NOT eligible for that award in consecutive years, but could be nominated the following year.
The nomination will only be considered if there is documentation in all areas.
