Admiral Coast Services…

…will begin for the Fall on Sunday, November 3rd at 7:00 p.m. St. John the Evangelist will be holding services at Admirals Coast on the following Sundays: December 1st, February 2nd; March 2nd; April 6th; May 4th and June 1st. You are welcome to attend.

Confirmation Registration

Registration will begin on Sunday, October 6th after the 10:30 a.m. service.

Parish Thanksgiving Dinner

A Special Dinner to welcome Rev Wayne Parsons and to thank Archdeacon Sandra Tilley will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. This will be a three-course meal consisting of Green Salad, Baked Salmon Dinner, Dessert, tea/coffee. Cost is $20pp. Tickets are available with Vestry members or by calling the Church Office 834-2336.

Fall Fair Meeting

Our first "FALL FAIR MEETING" for this year will be held at the PARISH HALL this MONDAY, SEPT. 30TH AT 7:30 P.M. All those who were attending meetings last year are welcome, plus any others who wish to participate in this very important fund raiser for our church.

Archdeaconry Service

On Sunday, October 6 at 4:00 p.m. there will be an Archdeaconry Service held at St. Augustine’s, Westerland Road, St. John’s. The focus of the service is the Belize Project sponsored by the Diocese Anglican Men's Associations. Rev. Ed Keeping and other members of the Belize Team will speak at that service about the Belize Project.

The St. Francis of Assisi Service of the Blessing of the Animals

The 15th Annual St. Francis of Assisi Service of the Blessing of the Animals will be held at the Cathedral on Saturday, October 5th, at 2:00 p.m. Fur, Feather, Fin, Scale, Hair, Hide, Shell and Skin: All are welcome. Owners are expected to restrain appropriately.

St. John the Baptist Deanery-Anglican Church Women 2013 Fall Fellowship

St. John the Baptist Deanery-Anglican Church Women 2013 Fall Fellowship will be held at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 20 Coady's Road, Portugal Cove-St. Philips, on Tuesday, October 22nd. We will begin with Holy Eucharist at 7:00 p.m. followed by a short meeting and social. All Clergy and women of the parishes are invited to attend.

Senior Choir

Practices are on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the church. New members are welcome to come along to practice. Contact Stephanie Gavell at 834-3445
