Strategic Nonviolent Conflict
I`ll start by saying one of the most successful examples of strategy of nonviolent conflict is the forms of nonviolent conflict which are: boycotts, strikes, protests and civil disobedience to the authorities in Serbia, Madagascar, Ukraine, Lebanon and Nepal. To my mindthe strategy of nonviolent conflict reaches the purposes through spreading the idea of civil disobedience and refusal to cooperate with the authorities. I consider that the main advantage of the strategy of nonviolent conflict from armed revolt consists in the following ones:
1)A dispersal by state of nonviolent campaigns can lead to counter fire.Illegal acts of violence against protesters often lead to international condemnation andpower change.
2)Supporters of regime, including civil servants, security forces, judges, could go to the side of the peaceful opposition groups than to the side of armed rebels.
3)The campaign of nonviolent conflict is more open for negotiations.
4)A peaceful campaign interests the vast majority of population, because they do not threaten a human life.
I insist that nonviolent conflict is an excellent alternative to political violence, and it can create serious problems for democratic opponents, who will come to power. Nonviolent campaigns are more successful than stocks with the use of force. Having an important role of mass media in support of performances, creation and maintenance of independent media and communication media are also useful for the protesters.
Describingthe principles of the strategy of nonviolent conflict, I propose it is necessary to carry out training –courses for activists. Knowing the experience of other peaceful protests and the extraction of positive results.
I have seen that chosen by myself global campaign for education and a strategy of the nonviolent conflict has a close link.For example, I think if government adopts a new educational reform, or somebody in the country has violated the right to education, society can use the strategy of nonviolent conflict. For a society need to know and understand the strategy of nonviolent conflict, and the basic principles of application.
The strategy of nonviolent conflict can use not only by the revolution and the overthrow of regimes. Society can protect the interests, if violated basic human rights, not to use military strategy and secure life. I think that the Campaign for Education is carry out in many countries where this right has been violated can use the basic principles of the strategy of nonviolent conflict.I am confident that the role of the strategy of nonviolent conflict is rising in countries where the development of democracy. Citizens are responsible for decision and must participate in the adoption of new laws.
