Business Administrator

Purpose of Role

The purpose of the Business Administrator role is to undertake a range of activities to ensure the smooth running of purchasing and administration activities across the business with particular focus on all third party processes.

Key Tasks

·  Ensure all third party processes are completed accurately and on time and track all open orders. Liaise with third party contractors to ensure parts are completed in line with business requirement

·  Work with the Production Manager to ensure JIT deliveries of raw materials

·  Manage and purchase consumables, stationary and packaging

·  Work with nominated suppliers in Asia to achieve the timely delivery of sea freight

·  Arrange carrier collections and despatches and produce despatch and test cert paperwork where required.

·  Ensure all filing and archiving is completed daily to ensure no paperwork is left unprocessed

·  Input test cert data into the Lakeview system to ensure accurate batch traceability is maintained and fully compliant at all times.

·  Work with the operations team to manage and maintain the MRP system including the creation of new materials

·  Purchasing project, as required, to identify new suppliers of products and services

·  Challenge the business to ensure we have the correct stock levels to achieve great customer service

·  Manage and maintain delivery dates in the MRP system to ensure the business has a clear picture of delivery dates of purchased and manufactured parts.

·  To liaise with the office team in regard to queries and requests in a timely and courteous manner

·  Undertake general office administration tasks as required by the business including post, filing etc.
