Reduction to the essentials:

Concealed Schüco door hinges

With its profile-integrated door hinges, Schüco has created the perfect synthesis of design, security and durability. These hinges, which have been specially developed for the Schüco ADS aluminium front door series from a basic depth of 65 mm, are shaped by the guiding architectural idea of "Reduction to the essentials". Both of the hinges are protected against dirt and the weather due to their location inside the profile. They are available in two designs with different opening angles. The concealed 100° hinge can bear a maximum leaf weight of up to 150 kg, whilst the concealed 180° hinge can bear up to 200 kg.

The concealed 100° hinge features an opening angle of 100°, and a clear access width of almost equal size. It can be used for inward and outward-opening, as well as for face-fitted and flush-fitted Schüco doors. The hinge is resistant to corrosion, maintenance-free and can be adjusted on the installed door. It is used with a continuous rebate gasket and closes the breaks necessary for the rebate. The door leaf can be taken off its hinges without dismantling the hinge body. Compared to a surface-mounted hinge, the concealed 100° hinge features a higher level of burglar resistance, since the hinges cannot be accessed given their hidden location.

The concealed 180° hinge has been tested up to resistance class RC2, and is also suitable for heavy doors due to its compact construction. It is used for inward and outward-opening, flush-fitted Schüco doors. The hinge is fabricated from rust-resistant materials, and is also maintenance-free. It is adjusted on the installed door. This hinge is also used with a continuous rebate gasket, and the breaks necessary for the rebate are covered by a plastic skin.
