Introductions
1. / Show the students a picture of a hot air balloon. Ask them if they have ever been in one. Tell them we are going to read about a hot air balloon that George takes a ride in.
2. / Show the students a picture of Curious George. Ask them what he is known for. Tell them that today we will read another adventure. Let’s see what mischief George gets into today.
3. / Ask the students about their last family vacation. Where did they go, and what did they do? Tell them that today we will read about a vacation that George takes. Let’s read and find out where he is going.
