FEMALE STUDENT-ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
At the end of each school year, a WSF-NWAC Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is awarded to one female student/athlete. The student must submit an application to the NWAC office by May10, 2018 in order to be considered for this award.
WSF-NWAC FEMALE STUDENT-ATHLETE
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:
1)Must be a sophomore student/athlete with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA or better.
2)Must have completed two years of eligibility in a NWAC sport.
3)The one time award will be to complete education and compete in athletics at a four-year institution.
4)The award will be presented directly to the recipient at the end of the school year.
**PLEASE NOTE:
Applicant must provide the following:
- Completed and Signed Application Form
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- One (1) Letter of Recommendation from Athletic Director
- An application letter (not to exceed 1 ½ pages) which includes college academic awards, accomplishments/achievements, the student’s interests and goals for the future and field of study they plan to pursue. Letter must also name the four-year college they plan to attend.
**APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETE AND MUST BE SUBMITTED ON TIME
OR THEYWILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
