EARL, Joan - In Kemptville Sunday, May 1, 2005, Joan Earl of Kemptville, age 82. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Robert Earl. Loving mother of Robert of England, Stanley (Helen) of Perth, Jo-Anne Dawn of Oxford Station, Douglas (Elizabeth) of Mountain and Stephen (Mary) of Kemptville. Dear sister of Len, Edna, Fred and Christopher all of England. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Ian, Amelia, Tyler, Melissa, Graham, Kathleen, Philip, Ryan and Maura. Great- grandmother of Cameron. Visitation will be held at Grant Brown Funeral Home Rolston Chapel, Kemptville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. John the EvangelistChurch, Oxford Mills on Saturday, May 7 at 11 am. REID In hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Tuesday. April 26, 2005, in his 98th year. Elymir Robert Reid, son of the late Robert Reid and his wife the late Margaret Robertson. Dear mother of David (Susan) of Carmel, Indiana, Rosemary (David) Codling of Leeds, England and N. Lynn Copithorne of Sydney, Australia. Loving grandmother of Mathew, Timothy, Lindsay, Sean and Sheila. Friends were received at the Alan R. Born in Fernie, B.C., Mary spent most of her childhood in Victoria. Mary served as a Wren during WWII stationed in Ottawa. She married civil engineer the late Arthur Henry “Hank Carson in 1948 and accompanied him to job sites across Canada and the Middle East. One constant in her life, no matter where her travels took her, was her art. Working in pastels, her portraits reflect warmth, colour and emotion. Her art work is dispersed throughout the world, mainly in private collections. Mary had a forty two year association with the Fellowship, where she acted as a mentor for countless people. She will be greatly missed.
