Safety luminaire in LED technology for recessed installation in a hand rail. In line with EN 60598-1, EN 60598-2-22 and EN 1838 for operation on emergency lighting systems in line with EN 50172, DIN VDE 0100-560 and DIN V VDE V 0108-100. Developed, manufactured and tested in line with ISO 9001.

Recessed design with flush appearance of the handrail to provide a unobtrusive aesthetic.

Easy installation of the luminaire into an oval cut-out with dimensions 100mm x 30mm (L x W).

LED Luminaire capable of supplying between 1 to 4 luminaires per LED driver.

Module housing out of plastic with feed-through wiring terminal.

Specific lighting controls done by special optic technology with asymmetric light distribution patterns for especially efficient escape route illumination with at least 1 lx acc. EN 1838.

Maximum spacing between luminaries: 6.5m at 1m height.

(Basic of calculation: at least 1 lx in centre of escape route, maintenance factor = 0.8)

Light source: 1 x highly efficient, white high-power LED with a service life of up to 50,000 h on account of optimised LED operating conditions.

LED-Luminaire for use with separate driver/monitoring module and 20-digit address switch (CEWA GUARD Technology).

Freely programmable mixed operation (maintained, non-maintained and switched maintained mode) without additional data line or wiring required for the luminaires connected to the relevant emergency lighting system with STAR Technology.
