ROBUST VOCABULARY DEFINITIONS:

1. conquer– winning or overcoming a problem or fear

2. resistance-you do not want something to happen

3. ponder– take time to think about an idea

4. anticipation– feel excitement because something is about to happen

5. assembly-group of people who have gathered for a reason

6. dismiss-give someone permission to leave

7. plenty– having more than enough of something

8. squirmed—keep wriggling around as if you were uncomfortable

9. patchwork– cloth made by sewing together small pieces of different fabrics

10. autographed– you signed your name on something

Use each word correctly in a sentence. Write sentences in green vocabulary folder. Underline vocabulary word.
