Welcome to our Mummifying Lab

READ THE DIRECTIONS VERY CAREFULLY!

1. The first thing you need to do is thank your fish for giving its life for this science experiment.

2. Make sure you have your gloves, goggles, and lab coat on correctly. Fit the goggles to your head so that they are not too tight. You will NOT be allowed to remove them during the entire lab. DEFOG your goggles thoroughly.

3. Check your lab area. Your lab mat should be stretched out. The two lab trays and canopic jar placed in the middle. You need paper towels to clean up any messes.

4. Begin by first observing your fish and giving it a name. Write the name of your fish here. The Nome must all agree on the name. ______

5. In order, for the fish to be reunited you must first draw a full picture of your fish. Label the external fish parts using the fish chart. Then, place all pictures inside Ziploc bag and close it to protect against fish guts.
