Certificate of Completion Instructions
Read Naturally offers a Certificate of Completion for educators who complete the Read Live Hands-on Training. The Certificate of Completion itemizes the content of the course and the number of hours spent completing the training. If you are interested in receiving the Certificate of Completion, review the information below before beginning the training.
Requirements for a Certificate of Completion
In addition to completing the Read Live Hands-on Training, you must do the following:
- Complete the brief questionnaire or download it to complete it electronically at:
- As you complete the training exercises, provide evidence of completion for the following “On Your Own . . .” activities:
- Complete the “On Your Own . . .” activity at the end of the Identifying Who Needs Fluency Instruction section. After creating a Student Details report for Jenny, either save the report electronically or print the report.
- Complete the “On Your Own . . .” activity at the end of the Working as a Student in Read Naturally Live section. Work through an entire story as a student. (Choose either Melissa Powell, Javier Rodriguez,or Kate Mitchell). Before you reset the story, create a Story Details report for the story you have finished and either save the report electronically or print the report.
Hint: You can print the Story Details report from the Pass/Review Work step by clicking the Print the Story Details Report icon. Alternatively, you can complete the story, log out of the student module, and then log in as the teacher. Go to the Reports Tab, and select Student Reports/Story Details. To locate an individual student, leave the My Group field blank, type the student’s last name in the Student Last Name field, and click Search.
- Complete the “On Your Own . . .” activity at the end of the Communicating with Students and Parents section. When you create a Super Reader Award for student Pat Timmons, save the report electronically or print the report.
Note: If you do not save or print the documentation for any of these three activities, you may need to repeat the activity to generate the needed document.
Returning Evidence of Completion
To send electronic copies, send the completed questionnaireand the three additional requirements as attachments in an email toClaire Hayes at se type "Read Live Hands-0n Training Certificate of Completion" in the subject line of the email.

Getting Your Certificate of Completion
Once we have received and reviewed the questionnaire and the evidence of completed work, we will send you a Certificate of Completion. Read Naturally will certify a maximum of five hours for this training.
