RE: Proposal for High Speed Internet Service

Thank you for your interest in an updated proposal for High Speed Internet Service from Oceanic Time Warner Cable for the vacation rental units atKauhale Makai. I have prepared the followingproposalfor your review. As you already know, High Speed Internet Service has become a very valuable amenity to vacation travelers. Our new “Hospitality” Internet service has evolved into a service that will satisfy both the guests and ownersvisiting Kauhale Makai.

Description of High Speed Service
Oceanic can provide the Hospitality High Speed Internet Access to one cable outlet in each of yourrental units. One cable modem could be installed directly an upgraded cable outlet in each unit with an Ethernet connector cable and ordering instructions. This service will be self-provisioning to your guest’sor owner’scomputer on a “plug and play” basis. There is no software to load and no computer settings to change! The speed available is up to 1 Mbps downstream and 384 Kbps upstream.

Bulk Billing

Oceanic would chargeKauhale Makai $15.95 per uniton a bulk billing basisplus HawaiiState excise tax (4.167%) on a multi-year service agreementfor a minimum of 25 units.

The service is always available and guests and owners would simply connect their laptop or desktop computer to the cable modem and log on to the Internet as a “free-to-guest” amenity. The charges could simply appear as a separate line item on your monthly Oceanic Cable billing statement.

Please note that when the guest or owner plugs their laptop into the cable modem, they click on an “Authorized Use Policy” (AUP) and receive instant access to the Internet. The AUP is a standard Internet waiver that indemnifies Oceanic and Kauhale Makaifrom all of the customer’s Internet activities. Each Internet session lasts for 24 hours at which point the customer will be disconnected and will need to sign on again by re-clicking on the AUP.

Customer Service

The customer service will be provided via a special Oceanic 24 X 7, toll free call center. In the event thatthe call center is unable to resolve a customer’s problem over the telephone, Oceanic will dispatch a technician within 2 business days. Oceanic will also replace defective cable equipment or modems within 2 business daysat no charge to Kauhale Makai. Please note that technicians will not be dispatched to the property on Sundays and holidays for a single modem problem.
