Level 1

Attainment Target 1:

I can use religious words and phrases.

I can name features of religious life and practice.

I can recall religious stories.

I can recognise religious symbols.

Attainment Target 2:

I can talk about my own experiences and feelings.

I can discuss what I find puzzling or interesting.

I can discuss what I find important.

Level 2

Attainment Target 1:

I can use religious words and phrases.

I can identify some features of a religion.

I can explain why features are important to some people.

I can identify similarities between religions.

I can retell religious stories.

I can suggest meanings for religious actions.

I can suggest meanings for religious symbols.

I can identify how religion is expressed in different ways.

Attainment Target 2:

I can respond sensitively to questions about my experiences and feelings.

I can respond sensitively to questions about the experiences and feelings of others.

I can recognise questions that are difficult to answer.

I can recognise what is right and wrong.

Level 3

Attainment Target 1:

I can describe some key features of religions using religious vocabulary.

I can recognise diversity in forms of religious expression.
