The most colorful event of the year is here again, it’s the Holi fest. The recreation center and the India student association teamed up to throw this year’s Festival of Colors. KETV Mane Media news reporter Your Name Has the Story.

VO (:10): The Holi Fest or better known as the Festival of colors, was today. Holi Fest is a cultural event where students join together and throw very colorful powder on each other. For two hours they could feel free and get all dirtied up with paint, a childhood dream for many.

VO (:10) It’s an annual event put on by the India Student Association and the Campus rec, and a traditional event by Hindi culture. The Vice president of the India student association says the colors represent joy and that good will always win over evil:

Stand Up (:06): The event was here at Cain sports complex. Students and commerce locals came out to the event to celebrate the festival of colors.
VO: (:10) The paint was provided by the rec and the India Student association gave out free shirts and food. A&M-Commerce student Chris Matthews, says he likes the different cultural events put on by the school:
