The Iowa Lions Eye Bank is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of sight through the collection, processing, and distribution of human ocular tissue for transplantation and research, primarily in Iowa, but also throughout the world.
The Iowa Lions Hearing Aid Bank; approximately 140 hearing aids are dispensed free of charge each year to qualifying Iowans.
The Coming To Your Senses Program. The University of Iowa, in partnership with the Iowa Lions, has initiated a program to objectively screen infants and children (ages 6 to 48 months) for loss of sight.

Leader Dogs For The Blind. Since 1939, we have been providing highly trained Leader Dogs.
The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in partnership with Iowa Lions are pioneers in the exciting world of cochlear implants.
