Hello Team Managers/Coaches,

Thank you for attending this year’s Festival, we hope you and your team are looking forward to the day and that you’ve got your fingers crossed for good weather!

Please find below a Team Sheet to be completed by you and then handed in at the Registration Tent on the day, also attached are the Match Rules and Directions to the Moundfield.

FESTIVAL AND MATCH RULES

Festival Rules

1.  Team sheets to be handed in by the stated registration time at the Registration Tent (9.00-9.15 for the AM session and 13.30 – 13.45 for the PM session).

2.  Players can only be registered for one team (min 8 and max 13) and can only play if registered with Cardiff Mini League. Under F.A. rules the minimum age for players is six.

3.  Team managers must have registration cards as they could be asked for at any time during the Festival.

4.  Up to 3 subs per team are allowed per game.

5.  Girls can play at all age levels in this Festival.

6.  A sending off will mean a ban from the rest of the Festival.

7.  Any queries or complaints from the team manager only using the Incident Form supplied at Registration.

8.  Start of games on all pitches will be centralised with the use of a hooter as will half time, restart and full time. Please be ready in plenty of time to start.

Match Rules

1.  Matches will strictly adhere to FAW mini guidelines.

2.  Match balls provided by RRFC.

3.  No offside.

4.  No penalties.

5.  Free kicks are in direct.

6.  Nearest player to be 3m away at kick off, free kicks and goal kicks.

7.  Goalkeepers are allowed to pick up a back pass.

8.  Every player must wear shin pads or they will be asked to leave the pitch by the referee.

9.  Games are 7 minutes each way with 1 minute for half time.

10. Each side may field only 8 players during a match.

11. All referees will be supplied by RRFC only.

12. Any matters of dispute will be ruled over by the RRFC Festival Committee.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MOUNDFIELD, RADYR

From Coryton roundabout:

·  Take the A470 signposted Merthyr Tydfil.

·  Take the first exit signposted Taffs Well.

·  At the roundabout take exit signposted Radyr (B4262)

·  At next roundabout you will come to the old Real Radio headquarters on the left, Ty Nant Court business park.

·  At this point there will be car parking stewards who will assist you with parking.

The Moundfield is situated behind Pugh’s Garden Centre and for those of you lucky enough to have Sat Nav the postcode for the Garden Centre is CF15 8LB.

PLEASE NOTE: We have been asked that you DO NOT PARK in Pugh’s Garden Centre Car Park, as this is disruptive to their provision for customer parking, at what is for them a very busy time of year.
