Radcal Discovers Gold Nugget in California
Radcal Corporation, Monrovia, California, announces today therelease of the first WiFi device (the Gold Nugget) for their diagnostic x-ray Accu-Gold Family of meters.
Monrovia, CA November 14, 2014: Radcal Corporation announces today that theywill releaseat the 2014 RSNA the first WiFi device for their Accu-Gold Family of meters. In addition, the new Accu-Dose+ ion chamber based diagnostic meter will also be released to replace their legacy dose meters.

Radcal is happy to announce the officialrelease of the first WiFi device for data transmission after each exposure. The Nugget is a unique “snap-on” enhancement to any of the Accu-Gold Family of meters. Recognizing that the system display and x-ray sensors are often widely separated, wireless capability eliminates the need to be tethered by a cable. In order to address transmission stability, data quality and range issues characteristic of other vendor’s Bluetooth solutions, Radcal has designed a WiFi (IEEE 802.11) wireless connection known for its robustness and ease of use. The Nugget is compatible with all past or present Accu-Gold Family of meters without any modifications necessary.
In addition to the Nugget WiFi solution, Radcal is releasing the new Accu-Dose+ diagnostic x-ray meter for dose measurements. The new Accu-Gold digitizer based device connects directly to any past or present Radcal ion chambers as well as Radcal Dose Diodes for individual or simultaneous measurements. Utilizing the provided Accu-Gold Software, measurements of Dose, Dose Rate, Exposure Time, pulse count, dose/pulse, pulse frequency and dose rate waveforms are shown after each exposure. With the use of the Nugget, one would have a very powerful wireless solution for obtaining dose measurements. The Accu-Dose+ is now Radcal’s solution to your dose measurements replacing the legacy dose meters of the past provided for over 30 years.
