The Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe areas of land to be specified race-courses for the purposes of Division 5 of Part I of the Racing Act1958.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 36 of the Racing Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 25September 2016.

4Revocations

The following Regulations are revoked—

(a)the Racing (Specified Race-course) Regulations 2006[1];

(b)the Racing (Specified Race-course) Amendment Regulations 2013[2];

(c)the Racing (Specified Race-course) Amendment Regulations 2015[3].

5Specified race-courses

For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of specified racecourse in section 3(1) of the Racing Act 1958, an area of land described in an item in Schedule 1 is prescribed to be a specified race-course.
