GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. THE MARINE CORPS IO OAG WILL BE HELD 22-23 JUNE

2015 IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (NCR). THE SPECIFIC LOCATION TO

BE TRANSMITTED IN SEPARATE CORRESPONDENCE (SEPCOR).

2. THE IO OAG WILL FOCUS ON DEVELOPING IO CAPABILITY AND CAPACITY IN

THE OPERATIONAL FORCES. THE INTENT IS TO PROVIDE REPRESENTATIVES

FROM THE OPERATING FORCES AN OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE OBSERVED GAPS IN

OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY WHEN

CONDUCTING IO. THE CONFERENCE WILL PROVIDE BRIEFS ON THE MARINE CORPS

FORCE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM (MCFDS) PROCESS AS WELL AS IO VIGNETTES FROM

THE OPERATING FORCES.

3. AGENDA: A DETAILED CONFERENCE AGENDA INCLUDING COORDINATING

INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED VIA SEPCOR. ADDITIONALLY, AN IO OAG

WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT THAT WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE

UPDATES. THE WEBSITE'S URL WILL BE DISSEMINATED VIA SEPCOR. UPDATES

WILL ALSO BE DISSEMINATED VIA INFORMATION OPERATIONS COMMUNITY OF

INTEREST SECURE VIDEO TELECONFERNCE (SVTC).

4. PARTICIPATION: ATTENDEES SHOULD INCLUDE REPRESENTATION FROM

APPLICABLE MARFOR, MEF, HQMC DIVISION, AND MCCDC. ADDITIONALLY,

REPRESENTATIVES FROM CURRENT JOINT AND SERVICE IO ORGANIZATIONS ARE

ASKED TO ATTEND. ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE IO OAG,

BUT NOT ADDRESSED BY THIS MESSAGE, SHOULD CONTACT POC OF THIS MESSAGE
