IMPORTANT NOTICE
It is Compass Safaris’ company policy that each client who has booked one of Compass Safaris’ trips signs the disclaimer of liability below.
This signed and dated form is due with your deposit. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your trip and possible forfeiture of the deposit and/or all payments.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Compass Safaris acts only as an agent for hunting outfitters and guides in arranging to provide the services and accommodations included, and therefore, assumes no liability for, and you by acceptance of the services provided, agree that Compass Safaris shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, expense, damage, accident, delay, inconvenience, injury or death which results directly or indirectly from any act or failure to act whether negligent or otherwise of any such hunting outfitter or guides and further agree that Compass Safaris makes no guarantee as to the success, quality (trophy) or quantity of game that my result from such hunting or the effect of poor weather conditions. The client shall be responsible for the cost of accommodations and associated transportation for overnights in route caused by bad weather, flight schedules, overbooking or cancellations and other events beyond the control of Compass Safaris. Compass Safaris reserves the right to decline or accept or retain any departure in which case a full refund will constitute full settlement to the client. All prices and rates quoted are subject to change without notice. Baggage, personal items and equipment are the sole responsibility of the owners at all times.
Compass Safaris shall not be responsible for the return of any deposits and/or payments to the client due to the cancellation or change of schedule by the client or by the supplier for any reason; however, Compass Safaris will attempt to provide replacements in the event the client cancels and to re-negotiate with the outfitter to obtain the return to the client of as much of any deposit and/or payments as possible. In addition, the client acknowledges that insurance was recommended that would provide compensation for lost or damaged luggage, trip cancellation, medical expenses and supplier bankruptcy while planning for or on the trip.
By signing and dating this form and making payment or deposits to Compass Safaris, the client agrees to be bound by all the above stated terms and conditions.
