Speaker Biographies

Stefanie Breyer

Vice President of R&D, Data Acquisition

As Vice President of R&D for Data Acquisition, Stefanie Breyer leads the continued advancement and development of NI DAQ products. She manages R&D teams focused on CompactDAQ, multifunction DAQ, VirtualBench, dynamic signal analyzers, and signal conditioning.

Since joining NI in 1995, Breyer has worked across R&D focusing primarily on data acquisition and vision. In addition, Breyer has led cross-departmental and cross-company initiatives and teams on people, processes, and technology.

Tamra Kerns

Vice President of Services

As Vice President of Services, Tamra Kerns leads the organizations responsible for maintenance services and support for NI’s broad product portfolio, as well as integration services to deliver NI-based turnkey solutions for top customers in conjunction with NI Alliance Partners.

Since joining NI in 1992, Kerns has held positions as both Director of Software Marketing and Director of Software Product Strategy where she worked closely with marketing, R&D, and customers to define and market new products and capabilities in the LabVIEW platform (including real-time and FPGA), several toolkits, and core features.

Shelley Gretlein

Director, Platform Software and Customer Education

As director of platform software and customer education, Shelley Gretlein is responsible for acquiring and retaining successful engineers and scientists with world-class software platform needs. She leads a dynamic team of engineers, marketing professionals, and learning experts to ensure each NI software user is successful and productive. In addition, Gretlein works with R&D leadership to define current and future generations of platform software.

Since joining NI in 2001 as an applications engineer, Gretlein has held multiple leadership positions including manager of ANSI C and .NET software products in the Technical Product Marketing Group. Gretlein was also an integral part of the Real-Time and Embedded Software team where she helped facilitate the launch of the LabVIEW FPGA Module. In addition, Gretlein was senior manager of the Software Business Group where she led the adoption of the NI software platform.
