Rate of Play: 60 mins each + 10 secs per move from the beginning
Times: Saturday 9.30am Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4
Sunday 9.30am Rounds 5, 6, 7
Successive rounds each day will start no less than 15 mins after completion of the previous round.
Players must use clocks and must notate their games.
PRIZES: 1st $150 + Shield + Trophy
2nd $100 + Trophy
3rd $50 + Trophy
Title and trophy for each age groups: under 16, under 14, under 12, under 10, under 8.
Each player can win only one prize.
DOP: Bill Powell
All players must be a member of their state chess association.
The title can only be won by a Qld player.
In the event of a tie, the title will be shared.
Entry Fee: $45 plus $10 CAQ fee if required.
Entries Close: 6pm Friday 7th July.
Late Fee: $10 May apply after 6pm Friday, 7th July
but not if player has entered by phone or
e-mail.
