This vertically integrated approach empowers Compass to address all customer requirements from concept design through final production, including system integration.

Compass is currently seeking a Quality Inspector for our Fremont location. This position has overall responsibility to perform in-process and final inspections and verification of product, and to provide technical assistance to production personnel. Additional responsibilities include evaluating and reporting on the compliance and effectiveness of inspection and quality processes.

This position may include but not be limited to the following duties:

·  Performing in-process inspections and first piece inspections of product. Provide technical assistance to production personnel and to evaluate and report on the compliance and effectiveness of production and quality processes.

·  Utilization of test equipment and other measuring instruments in order to inspect product and verify it is being produced at the highest quality standards.

·  Final inspection by means of cirrus test equipment, multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, various power supplies.

·  Visual inspection to verify labeling, placement of connector, check length and configuration.

·  Red tag all rejected and return to production for repair

·  Consistent ongoing employee communication.

·  Works well in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements

·  High school graduate or equivalent.

·  Minimum one-year experience inspecting cables/harnesses.

·  Good communication and problem solving skills.

·  Ability to read schematic and blue prints.

·  Ability to read and write in English.

·  EPICOR software or any similar manufacturing operation software.
