9. Please provide details of the intended learning outcomes of the post (which must relate directly to the relevant sections of the RCGP curriculum)
The post will cover the breadth of the RCGP curriculum for GP training. The practice will adjust the arrangements to suit the educational needs of different trainees.

Full time registrars provide 7.5 sessions of clinical work per week. Surgeries typically run for 2 hours with lengths of appointments varied according to registrar experience. Registrars visit on all days with a maximum of 2 visits( except when on call)
Tutorials are conducted during protected time either on Friday or occasionally on other days
Registrars are expected to be involved in some evening extended hours sessions but the total number of hours are adjusted to take account of this.
Involvement in occasional family planning clinics is timetabled. Baby clinics are not timetabled but there are opportunities to attend these.
There are no practice activities timetabled for Thursday afternoon to allow attendance at VTS teaching. Registrars have one other afternoon free from timetabled activities to allow for private study
There are regular clinical /audit meetings in the practice that the registrars are encouraged to attend.

13. What arrangements are there to participate in out-of-hours care?
It is a requirement of training that every GPStR undertakes a minimum of 1 session usually of 4 - 6 hours out of hours duties per month. This equates to 6 sessions and a minimum of 24 hours in 6 months and 12 sessions and 48 hours in 12 months. LTFTT need to complete a pro-rata number of sessions and hours.
