MSF Programs: Qualitative Assessment Explanation
Quality: Conformance to mission specifications and goal achievement within publicly accepted standards of accountability and integrity.
There are many competencies required to be an effective MSF-certified RiderCoach, RiderCoach Trainer, or Quality Assurance Specialist. Besides the usual expectations of adhering to the standards of RERP, the Rules of Professional Conduct, and MSF curricula, a critical core competency is to appropriately apply judgment in making decisions that facilitate safety and learning; in other words, making good judgments in alignment with MSF mission and goals. It is not possible to construct an objective measure of this competency. Candidates have the responsibility to assess personal capabilities and limitations based on their own judgment and experience.
