QC News – Updates & Training – October 2016

Welcome all new Members…and this is the way we like to start out each month. We are honored to have you as one of our newest Members! Current newsletters are included in all the Member Kits that go out. Only new Members get hard copy. After your first month, all future Newsletters can be found on our web site: www.QuarterlyConnection.com. Click on the tab at the top that says “QC News”. We used to mail them out to everyone each month. However, once we went over 4000 Members strong, it became too expensive so we started putting it only in the new Members Kits and then posting it online. You can also find previous newsletters there. Plus, you can order hard copy of past newsletters using your order forms.

September flew by…like a jet airplane!!! Here it is already October! We will be running Commissions in about a week and commission checks will start going out in 10 days or so. Of course, the late payers always put stress on our work load here in the office. We talk about it a lot. Guess that’s all we can do about it for now.

There have been some changes…so everyone really should request a new order form. You can download one online, or you can just drop us a line or give us a call and we will send a few out to you.

The biggest change is in the co-op…and we will cover all that right here and now. The minimum order is still 100 pieces. However, the maximum has changed from 1000 to 300. Responses dropped off for the summer and orders are now filled the first time from 70% to 80% of the time. That means a lot of re-mails. We emphasize that; if you are not prepared to wait, please do not order. We emphasize there are NO REFUNDS! We wrote it just like that so nobody has an excuse to miss it. We emphasize there is no guaranteed time limit. Remember, we do not do magic! Finally, we changed the price from $94 per 100 to $100 per 100.

Will this cause less people to use the co-op…or have any other effects? We certainly hope so! As we said in last month’s news, it was a slow, slow summer. And, even though it has picked up a bit, it still remains slower than usual. Why? It’s election year! This happens every 4 years. Nobody knows the exact reasons why direct sales slow down during election years. All we know is…it does. It may be fear of the unknown. There are a lot of guesses people make. The only thing for certain is it always happens every 4 years. We upped the price of the co-op to hopefully, not only slow it down a bit…but also help us get caught up with re-mails. Right now, we are still a good number behind. Remember, we guarantee you 1 sign up for every 100 we mail. We used to accomplish that about 80% of the time. Now, it is closer to 70%. This costs us yet more money.

We still have a few people asking for refunds…even though they signed their names that they read, understood and agreed to the terms of the contract they signed. So, let’s address the questions: Why do we not give refunds for the Co-op? Don’t we lose money when we have to re-mail for people? Yes, we lose a lot of money when we have to do re-mails. So, why do we do it? When we mail for you, we are not only investing time and money into you, but we are also investing time and money back into the company. And, re-mails for members is a revenue producing activity. So, we are willing to invest into our members and also into the company because it benefits us all. However, if we were to give refunds for time and money already spent, it’s just a big loss for us! Right now, it is not a big problem. However, if more people continue to order and then go back on their word of honor with credit card charge backs, then we will be forced to stop the Co-op all together. That would be bad for all of our members that use it, understand it and love it. It’s a perfect example of how a few less than honorable people can ruin something for everyone. Let’s hope that it doesn’t come down to that. We provide this service for our members. We have never made a penny on the Co-op. In fact, it is a constant money loser for us and has been a thorn in our sides from the very beginning. Enough said…

Keeping it short and sweet this month…or at least short…not so sure about the sweet part! (smile) Need to get those checks in the mail as soon as possible! Talk to you next month! God Bless all of you!

Most Sincerely,

Your QC Staff
