  2. Put Santa as the title and By: your name as the subtitle
  3. Align text so that it is in the middle of the box
  4. Add a drum roll sound to slide 1
  5. Slide 2 - The Legend of Saint Nicholas
  6. Include at least 3 interesting facts in a bulleted list
  7. Use customized bullets- picture of a toys
  8. Choose Conveyor transition
  9. Add a picture of Saint Nicholas/Santa and have it exit as a bounce.
  10. Slide 3 - Sinter Klaas Comes to New York
  11. Include information about the Dutch from the 1700’s.
  12. Include how Santa Claus’s name evolved
  13. Add a picture of the Statue of Liberty with children and add a custom animation path from right to left and set it as a VERY SLOW duration.
  14. Slide 4 - Shopping Mall Santas
  15. Include 3 facts from this section
  16. Include a picture of shopping bags.
  17. Animate the title to darken
  18. Slide 5 - ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
  19. Include the authors name and date published and one additional fact
  20. Include a picture of the cover of the book (Google it).
  21. Add saturation to 300%
  22. Rotate the picture 45 degrees

  24. Insert a table with 2 columns and 8 rows. In the left column, include the names of countries; in the right column, the different names for Santa Claus. Include column headings.
  25. Choose Dark Style 1, Accent 2 to the table
  26. Animate the table to Grow and Turn
  27. Slide 7 - The Ninth Reindeer
  28. Include authors name and date published and two additional facts.
  29. Include a picture of Rudolph from the Burl Ives movie from 1964 and add a 3pt green border to it

  38. Go to Parties – 74%
  39. Attend Religious Services – 65%
  40. Put up Trees – 88%
  41. Format the chart style to #28
  42. Add the texture cork to the format plot area of the chart
  43. Format the data labels with a moss linear fill and rectangular type.
  44. Delete the series 1 box

  46. Type Click here for more info on Christmas in the heading then make a link to any website related to Christmas.
  47. Then insert a picture that represents Christmas
  48. Animate it with a line from left to right for 6 seconds.
  49. Add sound of a jingle bells (clip art sound or from internet)
  50. Also, make sure the picture is set to move with previous…NOT ON CLICK!
  51. Add “THE END” as word art, align it at the bottom right and have it ZOOM IN after the picture animation. (hint---start AFTER PREVIOUS)

When you’re done:

  • Hide spelling errors in PowerPoint
  • Insert a footer with today’s date on all slides except the title slide and make sure it DOES NOT update automatically
  • Modify the design of the presentation to be Hardcover theme, with Essential theme colors
  • Make the presentation run automatically (10 seconds per slide)
  • Add a comment to the first slide- put Due by Tuesday, Nov 20.
  • Make the PowerPoint LOOP automatically
  • Add a transition of your choice to any slide that doesn’t have one.
  • In Slide Sorter view, move slide 9 so it is after slide 3.
  • Add Christmas project as the subject.
  • Create a custom slide show with slides- 1, 2, 4, 6, 10 and name it Christmas 2
