PUMPKIN CAROLS

Over the Graveyard
to the tune of Over the River and Through the Woods
Over the graveyard and through the tombs,
To the haunted house we go.
The ghosts are a fright, this spooky night
So come and join the show.
Over the graveyard and through the tombs,
Just hear the dreadful cries,
The banshees howl, the black cats yowl,
Their shrieking fills the skies.
Over the graveyard and through the tombs,
Where all the goblins meet,
Witches and ghouls, they are no fools,
They all yell, "Trick or Treat."
Over the graveyard and through the tombs,
The jack-o-lanterns gleam.
Bats fill the skies, with glowing eyes,
Hooray! It's Halloween! / Three Black Cats
sung to the tune of Three Blind Mice
Three black cats, three black cats,
In black hats, in black hats,
They all jumped into the Halloween brew.
They teased the ghosts & the goblins too!
Have you ever seen such a Hullabaloo??
On Halloween, On Halloween!
She’ll Be Riding on a Broomstick
to the tune of She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain
She’ll be riding on a broomstick when she comes.
She’ll be riding on a broomstick when she comes.
She’ll be riding on a broomstick,
She’ll be riding on a broomstick,
She’ll be riding on a broomstick when she comes.
We will warm up the big black kettle . . .
She will cook small toads and spiders . . .
We will feed the ghosts and goblins . . .
Humphrey the Blue-Nosed Pumpkin
to the tune of Rudolph
You know pumpkins are orange and grow on a vine,
Baked in a pie, they can taste mighty fine,
But now have your heard,
Of a pumpkin who was quite absurd?
Humphrey the Blue-Nosed Pumpkin
Had a very obvious nose.
And if you ever saw it,
You might even say it shows.
All of the other pumpkins,
Used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Humphrey
Play in any pumpkin games.
Then one foggy Hallow's Eve,
Great Pumpkin did say,
"Humphrey, with your nose so blue,
You'll make all the ghosts say BOO!"
Then all the pumpkins loved him,
And they shouted out with glee,
"Humphrey, the Blue-Nosed Pumpkin,
You'll go down in history!" / Ghosts and Goblins
to the tune of Frere Jacques

Ghosts and goblins,
Ghosts and goblins,
Witches too, witches too,
All out trick-or-treating,
All out trick-or-treating,
Can’t scare you!
Can’t scare you!
Pumpkin, Pumpkin Song
to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Pumpkin, pumpkin on the ground
How'd you get so big and round?
Planted as a seed so small,
Now you are a great big ball,
Pumpkin, pumpkin on the ground
How'd you get so big and round?
I'M A LITTLE SPIDER
to the tune of I’m a Little Teapot
I'm a little spider, watch me spin.
If you'll be my dinner, I'll let you in.
Then I'll spin my web to hold you tight,
And gobble you up in one big bite
