PTO UPDATES APRIL 12TH WEEK 2015

Well, SPRING has finally arrived! And, with the onset of warm weather, there comes an onslaught of ACTIVITIES here at Lynnewood!

We will be in need of lots of volunteers for MayDay, teacher appreciation, and the spring concert/art show. If you can spare an hour at May Day, or make a covered dish for the luncheon, or hang up artwork, it is all greatly APPRECIATED! Thank you in advance for your time! "Many hands make light work".

If you have visited Lynnewood in the past week, we hope you noticed and enjoyed the new furniture in the lobby. It's really looking great, and it gives the students/parents a nice place to sit. Hopefully the kids have also been enjoying the new basketball nets on the playground, with this nice weather!

May Day is a longstanding tradition at Lynnewood, where the students and their parents enjoy an outdoor fair with games, prizes, food and raffles. It is an afternoon of fun in the sun for the entire Lynnewood Community. And to make this event a success we need over 150 volunteers.

There are many ways to help. You can sign up for a 1 hour shift to staff one of the stations during the event.

Click here to view the sign-up list, and by signing up early, you can volunteer for the job that is the right fit for you, your spouse, grandparents, middle school or high school age children (we need lots of volunteers).
