FUN RUN DISCUSSION:

Fun Run – Saturday, August 26

  • Timing – run start at 10 a.m.
  • Route setup – Chase Anderson
  • T-shirts – Kim Hattaway designing
  • Cost – will see how much our cost is before determining price; will use square for credit cards
  • Games/Activities
  • Will offer double time and talent hours for planning a game. Use Sign-up Genius: Each grade will be asked to organize a game the day off event – setup, take down and getting volunteers to man event (incentives for class participation, i.e. sonic party, etc)
  • Cost – wrist bands for $20 (no tickets?). Still have a few free events
  • Zumba- Kim Ward asked Emily Otero and she will do again this year.
  • Bounce house – only 2 (obstacle and 1 jump)
  • DJ – Mark McMahill
  • Photos – Tuan Vu
  • Face Painting – need more as line was too long. Possibly look into high school/middle school doing. Limit size of painting kids can choose.
  • Food
  • Drinks – sign-up genius for volunteers
  • Food – hamburgers/hot dogs, chips and drinks. Sell as a meal? Cash for food? Dad’s club has agreed to help with grilling if needed.
  • Ice Cream – possibly include with meal. Kim to check with Burger King.
  • Cost – need to determine cost once food choices are set.
  • Raffle – we will try to get items
  • Sponsorships
  • Levels – same as last year
  • Melissa will contact sponsors from last year. Ashlei will approach Love’s with a letter.
  • Matt Ward – can make sponsorship banners at work.
