Building a Tradition of Training
Our 2011 event will be held in cooperation with the Orange County Sheriffs Office at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

Thursday will be filled with classes held at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort presented by qualified, experienced instructors. On Friday, attendees will visit the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum in Titusville, FL where they will tour the facility, receive classroom instruction and utilize the state-of-the-art indoor Gun Range. The APHF is the nation's first national police museum and memorial dedicated to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. /

WORKSHOPS FOR RESERVE, AUXILIARY & VIPS AGENCY LIAISONS
Many different management and administrative structures exist for volunteer law enforcement units within police and sheriff’s agencies. Two workshops will be led that will focus on best practices, organizational structures, and leadership opportunities for volunteer Reserve and Auxiliary law enforcement and Citizen volunteers. The workshops will be held as a “round table” of agency liaisons and also include discussions of recruiting, liability, training, and recognition for volunteers.
