- The Psychiatrist needs t0o participate in the diagnosis as well as in treatment of admitted patients.

- It is necessary to conduct the family and group therapy sessions as well.
- It is necessary to prepare the proper reports for the law examiners, judges, government officials, physicians, school officials.
- He or she needs to provide the professional witness evidence in administrative hearings and courts of law.
- It will be the duty to direct burses, supporting staff, residents in care, and attendants in treatment of patients.
- It will be the responsibility to attend and participate in the teaching and general staff conferences.
- The person has the responsibility to receive the advanced training in psychiatry or neurology field.
- He or she needs to do the researching work on the cognitive disorders to identify treatment methods.
- It is also needed to deliver the speeches to professional groups regarding child guidance, mental hygiene, and other topics.

Education and Qualifications
