Welcome from Kid’s Nite Out!
We look forward to seeing all of your children in August 2010 at our children’s events.
There will be lots of fun activities and excited staff members there to make sure that your children have the best time possible! Activities will include Video game systems, Arts and Crafts, Table games, Group Activities, Movies, Music, and much more! Listed on the following pages, you will find information on our company policies and procedures. You will also find information on our in-room childcare services if you need an extra night out and a fun alternative for the kids! Staff Qualifications
Our professional caregivers:
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid
• Have previous childcare and/or teaching experience
• Are thoroughly interviewed, screened, references are checked, and criminal background checks are performed
• Will arrive at your children’s convention or party wearing our signature purple polo shirt with the Kid’s Nite Out logo embroidered on the left side. They will also be wearing a Kid’s Nite Out nametag.
Staffing Ratios
Infants— 2:1
Toddlers — 5:1
Ages 4+ — 8:1
Security Measures
All children will receive a colored wristband upon entering a Kid’s Nite Out event. That wristband will contain the child’s name, age, and a security number. The parents will receive a security card that matches the number on their child’s wristband. The only person who may pick up that child is the cardholder. We also require that anyone entering the room would leave alcoholic beverages outside of the Children’s Party.
In-Room Childcare Services
When the sun goes down, and the Orlando vacation has just begun, are the young ones up to the challenge? Leave the fun to us! Kid’s Nite Out provides in-room childcare at many Orlando area hotels and resorts and is the preferred childcare provider of the Walt Disney World Resort and Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando.
Our professional caregivers provide one-on-one childcare in the comfort of the hotel or resort room. Our caregiver will arrive prepared with age-appropriate toys, activities, books, games, and arts & crafts. We care for children as young as 6 weeks. We also care for children with special needs (please call for details). If needed Kid’s Nite Out can also provide a well-trained caregiver to accompany your family to area attractions as a parent’s helper if you need an extra hand.
Advance reservations are recommended. We are able to book in-room childcare reservations up to 90 days in advance, and recommend making reservations at least 2-4 weeks in advance. Our reservation staff is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time daily. They may be reached at 1-800-696-8105, ext. 0.
