Project Aims

«  Provide safe and secure accommodation for homeless men and women

«  Provide support for service users to move successfully into independent living

«  Encourage involvement in the local community and the community of the project

«  Offer client-centred support and promote choice of the individual

«  Enable service users to develop the skills necessary to reach their goals

Aspire provides 20 units of accommodation on a quiet secluded site off Albert Avenue. Residents will have 24/7 support through a combination of on site staff, visiting staff and on call support. Each resident will have a private room and full access to shared kitchen, lounge, dining and bathrooms and also gardens areas.

All residents will have a bespoke support plan and will be expected to work towards the achievement of their goals and take part in regular mandatory group meetings. Each client may receive up to 1 hour a week of 1-1 support and any extra will be in a group setting i.e. budgeting sessions or daily living skills sessions.

Accommodation will be allocated via a referral and interview process. Accommodation will only be available to men and women that are homeless and that have more than minimal support needs for who 1 hour of 1-1 support a week is sufficient.
