SECTION 09 65 00
Provide inset solid color resilient flooring for game court markings on floor(s) as indicated on Drawings.
Provide inset/inlaid solid color resilient tile numbers, letters, and patterns in floors where indicated on Drawings.
SUBMITTALS
General Requirements: Provide submittals in accordance with Section 013300.
Shop Drawings:
Show locations of each resilient flooring type and related resilient edging.
Show floor patterns/designs and other markings indicated on Drawings.
Game Court Markings: Show locations, width/sizes, and individual colors for each separate marking (lines, symbols, and other markings) for game courts indicated on Drawings.
Product Data: Submit (2) copies of manufacturer’s technical data and installation instructions for each type of product intended to be installed.
Provide Product Data for adhesive.
Provide Product Data for moisture mitigation systems.
Samples: Submit samples of colors and patterns available for specified products from proposed manufacturers, for selection.
Maintenance Instructions: Submit (2) copies of manufacturer’s recommended maintenance practices for resilient flooring and related materials.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Installer Qualifications: Use skilled installers who are trained and experienced in necessary crafts and are familiar with specified requirements and methods needed for proper installation of products provided under this Section.
DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Packing and Shipping: Deliver materials to site in original, unopened containers with labels intact and legible at time of use.
Storage and Protection:
Store delivered materials in strict accordance with manufacturer=s recommendations.

Protect materials before, during, and after installation, and protect work and materials previously installed by other trades.
Replacements: Remove damaged products and provide new.
SITE CONDITIONS
Environmental Requirements:
Maintain minimum temperature of 65degreesF (18degreesC) in spaces to receive resilient flooring for at least 40hours prior to installation, during installation, and for not less than 48hours after installation.
Maintain temperature of not less than 55degreesF (13degreesC) in areas where installation work is completed.
Moisture content of concrete slabs and environmental conditions shall be within limits recommended by manufacturer of products being installed.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance Materials: After completion of work, deliver to Owner maintenance materials from same manufactured lot as materials installed and as follows:
Tile Flooring: Furnish not less than 5percent of quantity of each type, size, and color installed.
Resilient Wall Base: Furnish not less than 20 linear feet of each type, color, and size of resilient base installed.

Fire Resistance Requirements: Flame spread rating of 2.0 maximum when tested by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., Chamber Test No.992 “Test for Flame Propagation Classification of Flooring and Floor Covering Materials” and less than 75 when tested in accordance with ASTME84 “Tunnel Test”.
Color and Pattern Selection:
Architect will select from manufacturer’s full range of colors available.
Architect reserves right to select multiple colors in quantities desired.
Provide floor tile accent patterns noted on Drawings.
Field and accent colors as selected by Architect from manufacturer’s full range of colors available.
Game Court Markings: Multiple bright tone solid colors of VCT, as selected by Architect. Architect reserves right to select individual colors for each separate marking (lines, symbols, and other markings).
Where VCT is used to patch existing VCT, Architect reserves the right to select from any manufacturer’s full range of product patterns and colors.
SLIP RESISTANT VINYL COMPOSITION TILE (SRVCT)
