Reporting:
The Change Management Programs Assistant will report directly to the CMP Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Change Management Programs Assistant will assist the CMP Coordinator in order to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the change management programs in MAIL. To this end he/she will also assist the CMP Coordinator in proper maintenance of office records, documentation, preparation of agenda notes and minutes of meetings and assist in effective coordination between the Donors involved in the CMP, the Chief of Staff, the concerned offices of Deputy Ministers and the Directorates of MAIL and implementing partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide necessary office support to the coordinator in terms of proper maintenance of office records, documentation, preparation of agenda notes and minutes of meeting etc…
  1. Assist and provide necessary support for coordinating activities between MAIL and other partners such as Donors etc…
  1. Help coordinate timely collection/dissemination of information regarding the status of programs including progress against approved plans, targets and outputs etc. And report them to the Change Management Programs Coordinator
  1. Assist the Change Management Programs Coordinator to identify and address implementation blockages and challenges
  1. Help monitor program implementation including delivery on project related assistance and deliverables
  1. Assist the CMP Coordinator in convening and coordinating steering committee and working group meetings etc. as also workshops/seminars
  1. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor

Qualification/Experience:
  • At least Bachelor’s degree preferably in a development subject from a recognized University
  • At least 2 – 3 years of working experience with Government, UN agencies, & International NGOs
  • Fluent in speaking, writing and reading English, Dari and Pashto Languages
  • Very good computer skills (office package), internet and e-mailing

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Working condition:
Most of job hours are spent in well-furnished office in Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock. Work hours 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Saturday through Wednesday.
