Prospective Team CCYHL Player,

The Colorado Competitive Youth Hockey League (CCYHL) is proud to announce the formation of Team CCYHL at the U18AA Level. This is a collaborative effort of all CCYHL Associations to offer an intense U18 experience. The team will play in the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL). In recognizing the importance of the CHSAA Season for many high school athletes, this team will run as a pre-CHSAA and post-CHSAA team, meaning we will break for the CHSAA Season.

While encouraging players to play high school hockey, the goal for this team is to provide opportunities for exposure to Tier II, Tier III and college scouts/coaches through a highly competitive schedule.

Cost

  • The registration fee for Team CCYHL is $1,875. This includes 75 hours of game/practice ice, the uniform package, the apparel package, league registration fees, tournament entry fees and referee fees. Team travel and coaching stipends will be an additional cost, which includes airfare, hotel, transportation and food. League games will account for four trips out of state. The CSDHL Playoffs will be a 5th trip and Nationals would be the final trip. We expect the entire season fee to be $8,000.

Team Account Payment Schedule

  • The team account payments cover your player’s travel and coaching stipends. With most travel costs being paid in advance, it is important that this schedule be followed. We expect one additional payment to be made in February to account for the cost of travel to the USA Hockey National Championship in Green Bay, WI April 4-9, 2018.

The schedule is not complete. Additional games will be scheduled with the Chicago Blues, as well as local games with a variety of opponents. The only conflicting weekend with the CHSAA Season will be February 9-11, 2018, when the team travels to Chicago for the CSDHL Playoffs.

Uniform package includes practice jersey, home/away jersey, home/away socks, pant shells and helmet decals.
