BRIEF EXPLANATION OF WHY YOU WANT TO BE A KAIROS WEEKEND LEADER:

Having the opportunity to serve as leader for a weekend is turning over to God in supplication that which would be impossible to direct, handle, or even fathom on your own. Listening and listening to be able to pray in earnest for what God would reveal is itself an a minstry opprtunity for any team and expecially a leadership leader service for the team. I don't want to be leader as much as feel a calling to fulfill that which is asked out of faith. Truth be told there is a sense of apprehension on the size and unkown requirements as well as challenges to be faced that sets this servant's heart on an edge that only God can sustain

HOME CHURCH & YEARS IN ATTENDANCE (Religious affiliation, years attended, leadership positions held if any:

I have been attending Upper Arlington Lutheran Church with my family since 1998

PERSONAL TESTIMONY(optional):

From the time I was a young man I have known that God is with me even in the darkest of times (and there have been many) and it is this light that I seek to share with others in truth and quiet witness. There have been several times in my life that have been beyond bleak due to financial or emotional circumstance and God has always been there to assure me even when I was not an active believer that he would never leave me or forsake me. This was planeted as a seed by my grandparents and served as a light to illuminate my path. In those moments of surrender this also served as a guide that has directed service. It has shown me without a doubt God doesn't need us rather he invites us to accept salvation through Jesus his son and his attoning sacrifice in that there is nothing I could ever do on my own to claim salvation apart for this belief and acceptence.
